I’ve been pretty quiet over the summer due to an ankle injury. Luckily for me Wakeboarding at my local cable helped strengthen it up and I was able to get back on a snowboard a couple of weeks ago. Here’s a quick edit I made with my new Contour Roam 2 camera.
Last week i headed over to Kaltenbach which is just down the road from Mayrhofen and i entered the Zillertal Valley Ralley competition. The weather wasn’t great but i managed to stomp a back double 1080 in my run which won me 1st Place. I was surprised with the level of riding and it really made me step up and do bigger tricks. Overall it was a fun day and a nice competition, the next stop is at Zillertal Arena so i’m looking forward to taking part in another event.
In April i got the train from Mayrhofen to Meribel and joined the DC team there for shred days. Continue reading
This winter i entered the O’Neill evolution for the first time. I thought it was time to start competing in 6star TTR competitions.
I found it nerve racking as the jump was prettyyyy biiig but i pulled it together and got stuck straight into training. Continue reading
So after some fun out in Austria it was back to the uk again and whilst beck there i heard that there was a rail jam in Hemel and thought i would show my face. It was a sick comp and there was a great show of people for the event.
The format was a jam session that was judged and then 8 people from the jam session would be put into the final knock out stage which was head to head rounds. Continue reading
