This winter i entered the O’Neill evolution for the first time. I thought it was time to start competing in 6star TTR competitions.
I found it nerve racking as the jump was prettyyyy biiig but i pulled it together and got stuck straight into training. The training went really well and i found myself becoming more and more comfortable with the jump.
The rail section at the bottom was tricky as it was quite tight and easy to wash out on.
I managed to put down some clean backside double cork 1080’s as i found it the most comfortable trick on this jump.
For my qualifying i did a backside 720 as i wanted to land a safe run first. I though it would be enough to get me to final but the judges didn’t think so and i missed out by 4 places. The event was great and really well organised, it was good for spectators to enjoy which is always good for the sport.
